Tallship Figureheads
After working many years in the sailing ship industry—as a sailor, shipwrite, and carver of wood—Lynx rose to become one of Western Europe’s foremost figurehead artists. Guided by a fierce artistic vision and a deep love of adventure, his hands shaped timber into stories. Drawing on the rhythms of shipbuilding and the soul of the wind, he crafted this collection for the European fleet—each piece a tribute to the sea, the ships, and the spirit of the voyage.
Nautical Trailboards and Helms' Pieces
During the figurehead carving period, Lynx began to develop a more refined and detailled style of expression in his woodcarving; creating trailboards and helms' pieces he was able to express his talents in a more detailled fashion.
Sculptures
After his first sailing experience in 2005, Lynx realized that to find happiness he needed to begin pursuing his artistic dream of creating pieces that he alone could achieve, the mark of a true artist. during several years he traveled the globe as a freelance carpenter and artist, building his first collection: VOYAGE. a true journey of self discovery.
His 'Voyage' art project became nothing less than a three-year odyssey, taking him through more than a dozen countries with nothing but a backpack and his hand tools. Along the way, he gathered skills, stories, and friendships, each finding its way into his work—turning his creations into both map and memoir of a life in motion.
